A wedding is one of the most special moments of any family, but what if the joyous event turned into a brawl where people were throwing chairs at each other? A video is going viral that shows chairs and sticks being used by people to injure each other, leaving many of them with minor injuries.

A wedding function in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, turned into a war ground because of a food shortage, which led to a violent fight between the bride and groom’s families. The viral video was recorded from the terrace of another house, showing people throwing whatever they get in their hands at each other in anger.

Check out the viral video:

What really happened at the wedding?

According to the bride's brother, the groom demanded additional money due to the food shortage, even after paying some amount. The latter asked for Rs. 1 lakh more, which became the reason for this brawl. The matter soon escalated, and as seen in the video, people were kicking, throwing chairs and sticks, and attacking each other in all possible ways. And due to this reason, the wedding was called off, and the soon-to-be bride was taken back to her home without any vows being exchanged.

This is not the first time this case of a wedding brawl has been reported. A wedding in Bareilly recently descended into violence due to a missing piece of chicken leg in the biryani. Disagreements soon turned into a full-fledged altercation, including among the guests and even the groom.
