New Delhi: Today, as India celebrates its 78th Independence Day, leaders from all across the world are greeting India and its citizens.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is one of those world leaders who have greeted India on its 78th Independence Day. Meloni took to her Twitter handle, @GiorgiaMeloni, to greet India, sharing a thoughtful note in which she mentioned the strong relations between the two countries.
In her tweet, Giorgia Meloni tagged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wrote, ‘On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, I would like to express my heartfelt wishes to the people of India, and especially to the many Indians who follow this page. Italy and India share an ever-stronger bond, and I am confident that together we will achieve great things. Our strategic partnership is an important pillar for the future. @narendramodi.’

The Italian Prime Minister's social media account also shared a beautiful picture of PM Narendra Modi and Georgia Meloni during his visit to Italy for the G7 summit.
French President Emmanuel Macron also greeted India on Independence Day. Macron shared a social media post that says, ‘Heartiest wishes to all Indians on 78th Independence Day. I recall your warm welcome during my visit to India in January, and I look forward to working with my friend Narendra Modi to achieve the ambitious goals we have set for our strategic partnership.’

President Emmanuel Macron also shared a picture during his visit to India, where he was surrounded by many Indians.
Kuwait Amir Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a congratulatory cable to President Murmu expressing his good wishes for India and further progress and prosperity for the countrymen, Kuwait News Agency reported.
Kuwait Crown Prince Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah also extended greetings to President Murmu and wished for her long-lasting health. Kuwait Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah also extended his wishes.
