Caught On Camera: Man Flee With Rs 1.5 Lakh from ATM in Hamirpur

Hamirpur: A daring robbery took place in the broad daylight in Sumerpur town of Hamirpur when an unidentified man successfully managed to break into an ATM machine and flee with 1.5 lakh cash. 

The incident occurred near the local bus stand in Hamirpur, a heavily trafficked area, yet the thieve managed to execute his plan without being caught.

As shown in the CCTV video, the thieve used sophisticated methods to bypass the ATM's security measures and gain access to the cash compartment. The man was able to abscond with an estimated amount of one and a half lakh rupees. 

The entire act of him sneaking into the ATM machine kiosk and executing the robbery was captured on the ATM's CCTV surveillance system, providing crucial evidence for the local police to investigate.

The police authorities are currently reviewing the CCTV footage to identify the suspects. They are confident that the clear visuals will aid in their investigation and ultimately lead to the arrest of the culprits. 

The incident has caused significant alarm among the local community, as it highlights the increasing prevalence of such crimes in the area.

Recently, Mumbai Police caught two men for tampering with an ATM in Navi Mumbai and stealing nearly Rs 1.7 lakh.
