Husband Chops Wife’s Nose After She Insists On Going To Her Maternal Home On Raksha Bandhan

Viral News: Shocking news comes from Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi district, where a husband chopped off his wife's nose when she insisted on going home for Raksha Bandhan.

Anita wanted to go to her mother's house in Hardoi to tie Rakhi to her brother. When her husband, Rahul, refused, they had a fight. Rahul beat Anita and ultimately cut her nose.

According to reports, the woman was rushed to the hospital nearby, soon after the incident, in critical condition, where she was referred to the trauma centre in Lucknow.

Rahul, a resident of Baniyaani Purwa had a heated argument with his wife Anita when she asked to go to her maternal home on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The argument between husband and wife reached to a level where the angry husband chopped his wife’s nose.

Hardoi Police took cognisance of the matter and initiated an investigation into it. Hardoi police also shared a social media post saying, ‘Bite of City Area Officer regarding the dispute between husband and wife in Kotwali Dehat area.’
