‘I Voted for You, Now Find a Bride for Me’: UP Pump Attendant's Hilarious Request to MLA Goes Viral

Viral Video: In an unexpected twist, a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Uttar Pradesh found himself in a humorous situation when a 43-year-old petrol pump worker asked for his help in finding a bride.Their conversation video goes viral .

Brijbhushan Rajput, the MLA for Charkhari, was taken by surprise when pump attendant Akhilendra Khare approached him during a routine refueling and expressed his frustration about being unmarried, pointing to his support in the recent elections as justification for his request.

The light-hearted interaction occurred as Rajput filled up his vehicle. Khare, in a playful mood, remarked, “I was born on Karva Chauth, but there’s no one to observe it for me.” Amused, the MLA responded with a laugh, “Why did you choose me for this task?” Khare replied, “I voted for you,” which only added to the laughter.

MLA asked about person’s special preferences for a future wife. The petrol pump worker replied he wasn’t looking for someone from a specific caste.

“I will pray for you and try to help find you a bride because you voted for me,” MLA promised, even inquired about Khare’s financial situation to inform potential brides’ families.

Petrol pump worker shared that he earns ₹6,000 a month and owns 13 bighas of land, to which MLA commented that the property could be worth crores.
