However, Elon Musk has debunked these claims, taking to X to clarify. He replied to a photo, writing, "I was there with my mom. There is no romantic relationship whatsoever with PM Meloni."

Responding to another post that asked, "Do you think they’ll date?" Musk replied, "We are not dating."

While presenting her with an award in New York, Musk said it was an honor to present the accolade to someone who is even “more beautiful on the inside than she is on the outside.”

“She’s also someone who is authentic, honest, and truthful — qualities that can’t always be said about politicians,” he added.

Meloni received the award for her “strong support of the EU and for becoming the first female Prime Minister of Italy.”
