Nothing can compete with the happiness of reuniting with your family, which happened to a man from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, but it didn’t last long. Anil Mishra, whose wife left him in the initial years of their marriage with their son due to financial difficulties, came back for a reason.
For the last 20 years, Anil never heard anything from his long-lost family. But just when Rs 28 lakh was deposited in Anil’s account after his land in Saramau village was acquired by the Bundelkhand Development Authority (BDA), his wife and both sons came back to take the land from him.

Anil, who was living alone for all these years, refused to share the amount, but they allegedly snatched Rs 1.5 lakh from him and ran away. For this, Anil filed a complaint at the police station.
Anil says that he lived with his wife and children 20 years ago when he used to work as a truck driver. He owned 1.5 acres of land. During all this time, his wife had an extramarital affair with someone, which he opposed.

All this happened while the family was in a financial crisis, which led to domestic disputes between the couple. Anil’s wife filed a case against him, which led to his imprisonment. After he was released, his wife left him with their children to live with her lover.
After all this, Anil became a priest and started living in a nearby temple. Recently, his land was acquired by the government, and he received a hefty amount of Rs 28 lakh. This news reached his wife and children, who visited him at the temple to take him back with them. Remembering what happened in the past, he refused to move from the place.

According to him, one of his sons is a lawyer and the other one is also well-off, yet they never tried to contact him in those 20 years. When Anil refused to move back with them, they snatched Rs 1.5 lakh from him, which he had recently withdrawn, and he filed a complaint at the Jhansi police station.
SP of Jhansi, Grandev Kumar, said that the police are investigating the matter and will take action based on the evidence.
