Thrissur: In a stern action, Kerala Police has revoked driving licence of a motorist and imposed a ₹2.5 lakh fine after he allegedly obstructed an ambulance in Chalakudy on November 7. incident involved a silver Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, whose driver reportedly failed to yield to emergency vehicle heed to Thrissur Medical College.

Dashcam footage, shared by paramedics, showed ambulance trailing car for over two minutes on a narrow two-lane ro. Despite siren and repeated honking, motorist appeared to block ambulance, raising significant concerns about ro safety and civic responsibility.
