Viral News: A recent social media post by an employer has sparked a debate online on Genz's approach towards taking leave. While reacting to post ar social media user Krishna Mohan, shared that a Gen Z employee from his team took a week off to "heal from a breakup" during a critical phase of a project.
“One of my Gen Z team members suddenly declared 1 week leave. It was a critical time of project so I tried to reason. He did t budge. leave was because he h a breakup and he wanted to go to mountains to forget breakup,” Mohan wrote.

While several users slammed him for t regarding employee's mental health, he furr reveled “Believe me it was one way communication. I h to deal with repercussions on project.”
However, many social media users were t satisfied with answers and defended young employee.

“It’s better to give m a break than overwhelm m with delines when y’re alrey struggling,” one commenter wrote.

Inste of asking for permission or providing a detailed reason, email was short, direct, and confidently stated employee’s intention to take time off.
