The unusual tactic was employed by Rohit Saluja, who's barber Sonu had lost his phone. Saluja took it upon himself to help the struggling barber find a news phone through crowdfunding.
The t-shirt, printed with the words "Scan to know men have emotions," caught the attention of Pooja Sanwal, who shared the story on X (formerly Twitter).

Sonu's plight resonated with many, and the fundraiser quickly gained traction. As of July 16, the fundraiser had already collected Rs 1,600 only.
Showcasing the power of social media and human kindness sonu soon received a brand new phone all thanks to people who funded him scanning bar code.

Netizens on the other hand are praising man's efforts and innovative idea of crowdfunding for a phone. One user wrote, ‘Men can cheat with anyone but not with barber.’ Another user says, ‘Men see this, men got emotional. Every men has a special relationship with his barbar.’
One more user says, ‘Man might not be loyal to his gf but is definitely loyal to his barber.’
