A dramatic scene unfolded at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport when an elderly man collapsed and suffered a heart attack. Thanks to the swift intervention of Dr. Priya, a resident of Ajmer, Rajasthan, and her colleagues, the man’s life was saved.

Dr. Priya, who was at Terminal 2 waiting for her flight with her husband, Dr. Ramakant Goyal, witnessed the elderly man collapse. Recounting the event, she told ANI, "My husband Dr. Ramakant Goyal was with me and when we reached there, a doctor couple was also there- Dr. Umesh Bansal and his wife Dr. Dolly Bansal. When the four of us saw, he was completely unresponsive, his breathing had stopped, his heartbeat had completely stopped, and he was not breathing at all."

Faced with a dire situation, the doctors immediately performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the man. Dr. Priya explained that their quick action helped stabilize the patient: "Within some time, he became stable and his pulse rate got better."

Airport staff promptly arrived on the scene, and once the man regained some responsiveness, his wife was called. He was subsequently assisted by airport personnel for further medical care.

Dr. Priya emphasized that while no one can replace God, their actions are guided by a higher will. "No one could take the place of God but can only work according to his will," she said.
