New Delhi: A shocking post has surfaced on social media, where a woman claims she was brazenly groped by a man in Lajpat Nagar, a busy market area in Delhi. 

The incident, recounted by the victim herself, highlights the alarming rise in sexual harassment in public spaces.

The woman, who was out shopping with her husband, described the horrifying ordeal. A tall man, clad in a dhoti and kurta, walked between the couple and, in a brazen act of audacity, groped her. 

The woman's initial disbelief turned to anger as she confronted the man. While her husband's instinct was to pursue the assailant, the woman, overwhelmed by shock and shame, asked him to stop.

The aftermath of the incident has left the victim grappling with a complex array of emotions, including anger, and humiliation. The woman took to social media platform reddit where she shared her ordeal, “I was in Lajpath nagar with my husband. Both of us standing and looking in different directions, finding a particular store.

This tall man in dhoti and kurta walks between us, literally holds my b**b and walks off. I realised and hit him from the back (not too hard because obviously I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought it’s probably me thinking things and it might have been a mistake).

He turned around and made a face like he knew nothing but you could tell he did it with full intention and tried to hide that with a straight face. Told my husband what happened, husband abused him and ran after him but I asked him to leave it and called him back. He came back but i felt dirty and cried and for some reason blamed my husband too.

What should I have done. What should my husband have done. Why do I feel like this. How can someone hold my boob in public and walk off.”
