Viral Post Shows Gutkha Stains on Kartavya Path, Internet Disgusted

New Delhi: Kartavya Path, a popular tourist attraction in New Delhi, has recently grabbed helines as a viral post shows location stained with gutka stains. A post shared on X captures paan and gutka stains "painted" on red granite of Kartavya Path, previously known as Rajpath.

How did internet react?

"I think government should link good social behavior with taxes/CIBIL score. Those who litter, drive roughly, etc., will have to pay proportionately more taxes and will also get loans at higher interest rates. Those who behave ideally would eventually pay fewer taxes," one user wrote.

Anor comment demanded strict action against act: "Isn't it high time to bring a bill to punish people who litter in public places and also hold accountable departments responsible for public place cleanliness?"

A third person remarked, " issue is not with government or local cleaning body, it's basic civic sense."
