Viral Video: AIIMS Student Claims He Pays Rs 15 for Room with Attached Bathroom

Viral Video: A AIIMS student from Bihar has gone viral after sharing that he pays just Rs 15 per month for a room with an attached bathroom in West Bengal. Manish Aman, a final-year MBBS student at AIIMS Kalyani, posted photos and videos of his room on X, explaining that it was accommodation provided by the college at a highly subsidized rate.

Along with a picture of the room, he wrote, “I got this single room with attached washroom at a cost of ₹15 per month,” leaving social media users in disbelief. In the post, one could see a single room with a single bed, a study table and a bathroom in one corner.

Unconvinced by his claim, internet users questioned the authenticity of the same. Some even joked that he might have mistaken Rs 15,000 for Rs 15, while others shared that such rooms come at a hefty price in Mumbai or Gurgaon. A user wrote, “This room won’t come in less than Rs 12,000 in Mumbai or Gurgaon.”

Another joked, “I actually got a similar one for free when I was arrested.”
