Amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, a video of a newlywed couple dancing in an underground bunker while missiles rain down on Israel is surfacing online.
The video, shared on the social media platform X, shows the couple enjoying their moment despite nearly 200 ballistic missiles being launched at Israel by Iran on Tuesday.
The couple, reportedly identified as Kristirae and Shawn Gibson, had traveled from Colorado, US, to celebrate their big day. However, they were forced to move their ceremony to a hostel bunker due to the attacks.
According to reports, the couple had visited the holy city of Jerusalem as practicing Catholics to celebrate their love and shared faith.
The couple did not expect such an eventful, yet memorable, wedding day.
“We wanted to come here a year ago, but then there was October 7,” they told a leading media outlet as the sounds of the Iron Dome intercepting missiles echoed above. “You can see that it was meant to be unforgettable.”
The video, captioned "Iran couldn't stop the joy at this Jerusalem wedding even for a moment," has garnered over 2.3 million views. It was shared by Saul Sadka, a Bible scholar and author.
The comment section was filled with joyful wishes for the couple.

Iran Attacks Israel
Iran fired several rockets towards Israel hours after intelligence warned of an imminent attack in Tel Aviv, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) said on Tuesday. According to reports, sirens sounded across Israel, urging people to seek shelter. Some Israeli media have reported that over 100 missiles were launched from Iran. This escalation followed Israel’s strike that eliminated Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon on September 27.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu , in a video statement on Tuesday night, vowed retribution, stating, "Iran made a big mistake tonight," and warned that the country would now face consequences. He further called the attack a “failure” and suggested that Iran would meet the same fate as terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah.
