Viral: Videos of social media users pulling off risky stunts have become popular due to the reel-trend. In one such case, two women are seen filming themselves while driving carelessly in a recent Uttar Pradesh video that went viral. One of the women in the viral video is seen driving a Mahindra Thar SUV as the other woman sits in the front passenger seat. A song is playing while the two are seen swaying and having fun. Lifting one hand off the steering wheel, the driver demonstrates her dancing moves. It is said that the vehicle was being driven on NH9, which runs from Ghaziabad to Delhi.
The caption of the video which was posted on X, said, "She will die herself and kill others more....! This is the reason of the accident !.... These are the pictures of National Highway NH 9 ... Going from #Ghaziabad to #Delhi. Chammak Challo song based on #Reel Thar...UP14FR5113 #VideoViral is being made inside a Car" The video was soon brought to the attention of the Uttar Pradesh Police. Assistant Commissioner of Police Nimish Dasharath Patil responded to the incident by saying, "Today a video is going viral on social media according to which a car i20 is running in reverse gear on the elevated road. The driver is being chased by a police vehicle. On getting more information about the incident, it was found that it was running on elevated at around 9.30-10.00 pm last night."
A dramatic chase between Ghaziabad Police and a white Hyundai i-20 on the Raj Nagar Extension Elevated Road was captured on camera earlier this year, and the footage quickly went viral. In the 47-second video, police cars can be seen pursuing the automobile as it speeds along a major route while it is in reverse.
