Viral Video: UP Principal Expels Student Over Non-Veg Lunch

Amroha: A principal of a private school in Uttar Pradesh has allegedly suspended a five-year-old student for bringing non-vegetarian food for lunch.

The video of the incident is circulating online, sparking widespread outrage.

The clip captures an intense conversation between the principal and the child’s mother.

“We don’t want to teach kids with such morals, who will demolish our temples and bring non-veg to school,” the principal is heard telling the child’s mother, alleging that the student talked about feeding non-veg food to fellow students and "converting them to Islam."

The principal blamed the student for repeatedly bringing non-veg food. However, the mother refuted the claims and accused the classmates of engaging in Hindu-Muslim issues.

“You are teaching this to him,” the principal tells her. In the video, the woman alleges that her child had not been allowed to sit in his class since morning.

“I don’t want to teach him anymore. We have expelled him,” the principal added.

As the video sparked outrage, Amroha’s Muslim Committee wrote to the district magistrate, demanding the principal’s arrest and the school’s affiliation be suspended.

The Police Department in Amroha also took notice of the video and responded. The District Schools Superintendent took prompt measures, forming a team to further investigate the issue.
