Viral Video: Territorial Army to celebrate its Platinum Jubilee has launched a historic expedition from Siachen Glacier to Indira Point, covering approximately 5,500 kilometers by land, air, and sea through cycling, sailing, and scuba diving.

The expedition was officially flagged off on July 30, 2024, by the Commander of the Siachen Brigade at the Base Camp. The team navigated the challenging terrains of Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh , reaching Delhi on August 22, 2024. There, they paid homage at the National War Memorial before being formally sent off by the Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Rakesh Kapoor, and the Director General of the Territorial Army, Lt Gen Raju Baijal.

After 54 days of determination and teamwork, the expedition culminated on September 21, 2024, when the team reached Indira Point, the southernmost tip of India. In a poignant moment, they hoisted the Tricolour underwater at Indira Point, a site that was submerged during the 2004 tsunami, marking a significant and symbolic conclusion to their journey.
