'Whatever I’m Doing On The Field..': Ravindra Jadeja Remembers Late Mother With T20 World Cup Sketch

Viral: In an emotional remembrance of his late mother, Ravindra Jadeja created a sketch in which he is seen standing next to her while holding the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy. Following a 13-year wait, Jadeja and India, captained by Rohit Sharma, won the trophy last month at the Kensington Oval by thrillingly overcoming South Africa by 7 runs in the final in Barbados on June 29.
At the age of 17 and just beginning his career with India's under-19 team, Jadeja's mother passed away in 2005. With a heartfelt Instagram post, he just honored his mother. "Whatever I’m doing on the field, it’s a tribute to you," Jadeja wrote in a message.

On the social networking platform, Jadeja's post garnered a lot of love with an astounding 962,073 likes. A commenter on Instagram said, "This has our hearts!" "Thalapathy is best all-rounder in the world," remarked a different user. "Sir jadeja respect button," penned a third user.
Jadeja made the decision to retire from T20I cricket following India's victory in the T20 World Cup. In an emotional post, he said that the win was the pinnacle of his career. The all-rounder ended with 515 runs, at an average of 21.45, and claimed 54 wickets at an economy rate of 7.13 in T20Is.
