Noida: A Noida-based HR professional recently shocked the internet by revealing inappropriate messages she received from rejected job candidates.

The talent acquisition specialist shared screenshots on LinkedIn, showing how some rejected candidates disregarded professional boundaries.

She wrote, "As an HR professional, I've observed a disturbing trend: candidates who don’t get selected start to ignore boundaries. Inappropriate nighttime texts and calls have become common. Let’s be clear: rejection is a chance for growth, not an invitation to overstep. My phone number is for professional communication only. As professionals, you’re here to build your careers, or at least strive to be respectful human beings who value others' boundaries and time."

The messages included comments on her physical appearance, with terms like “cute,” “sundar (beautiful),” and “hot.”

"I've shared screenshots to illustrate the severity of this issue, without hiding numbers, as this needs to be exposed. I'm committed to maintaining a respectful and calm demeanor, even in the face of inappropriate behavior. Don’t mistake this for weakness."

She added, "Remember, those who can’t maintain a basic level of professionalism have already failed—both as a professional and as a human being. Good luck!"

One candidate, rejected for a job, repeatedly called her, claiming he had been unable to forget her since their interview and even calling her “the most beautiful girl in the world.” Another candidate sent her love poetry and “shayari” after being told his CV was not suitable for the position.

The most shocking message read, "You were looking hawwt that day," followed by a comment that he hadn’t been able to sleep or wake up since seeing her.

Social media users were stunned. "Very sad to see job aspirants behaving in such a disrespectful manner," one person commented.

Another user added, "Sadly, any woman, by default, is not safe. Be it on the streets, hospitals, their own areas, public transport, etc. We see disturbing news daily. And more sadly, it’s become the new normal."

A third person remarked, "After reading all your screenshots, I wonder if this is about a job rejection at all. This is clearly harassment and cheap mentality. Are they even fit for any job? Character, respect, and integrity are basic requirements for hiring."
