The Raid 2 trailer was launched in Mumbai on April 8 in an eccentric manner. The makers set up resembling a brick wall, which was broken down to unveil the poster of the film, which will hit the big screens on May 1. Source: Varinder Chawla

Raid 2 is the sequel to the first film, released in 2018. Ajay Devgn and Saurabh Shukla will reprise their role from the original movie, while Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh are new additions to the cast. Source: Varinder Chawla

Like its precursor, the sequel is also based on the income-tax raid conducted by the officers of the Income Tax Department who work with intelligence agencies to track white-collar crimes.
