3 Schools in India Awarded for Environmental & Community Services by T4 Education, a global network for educators.

New Delhi: India, Poland, Italy, and Argentina's schools won World's Best School awards on Thursday for their efforts to combat pollution, support refugee children, and launch an anti-bullying campaign.

The 3 schools which were awarded are; Ryan International School in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, CM RISE School Vinoba, Ratlam, and Kalvi International Public School, Madurai.

T4 Education, a global network for educators, started the awards in 2022, and the five winners split a $50,000 prize.

“It is my hope that governments now look to your shining examples to see what can be achieved when schools are committed to high performance and when education seeks to tackle some of the greatest challenges our societies face," T4 Education and the prizes founder Vikas Pota said in a statement.

Recognition to Indian Schools

Ryan International School in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, won the Environmental Action Prize for their efforts to combat pollution and water scarcity using hydroponics and biogas plants.

The "Cycle of Growth" strategy, which promotes teacher development and student engagement, helped CM RISE School Vinoba, Ratlam win the Innovation Prize. It has increased exam pass rates from 29% to 82% and school attendance from 25% to 85%.

Kalvi International Public School in the Indian city of Madurai received an additional honor, the Community Choice award, for its outreach program for kids from lower-income households and its emphasis on social integration and holistic development.

Other schools awarded are…..

In Lecce, Italy, Istituto Galilei-Costa-Scarambone took home the Supporting Healthy Lives award for its student-led anti-bullying program, "Mabasta" (stop it), which also emphasizes mental health.

The Overcoming Adversity prize went to the First Ukrainian School in Poland, run by the Unbreakable Ukraine Foundation, for helping refugee children adapt to life in a new country by offering them specialized training.

The Unbreakable Ukraine Foundation's First Ukrainian School in Poland received the Overcoming Adversity prize for providing specialized instruction and assistance to refugee children as they adjust to life in a new nation.
