Krefeld zoo has said chimpanzees bally and limbo survived devastating fire but have suffered mir injuries and are w housed in two boxes in gorilla garden.

zoo issued a statement on its official website that re, "In early hours of January 1 re was a devastating fire in monkey house. house burned down to ground. Our employees are in shock. fire department is on-site with a fireguard. We ask for your understanding that we cant be re for you today. You can find current information on our facebook p."

zoo also thanked people for ir support at time when it matters most. zoo said, "We would like to thank you for overwhelming wave of compassion and assistance that have reached us on all channels. This is what our employees wear. We also thank you for solidarity on social media. We re everything, but we do t man to respond to it all. We are grateful for donations at all levels. In future, human monkey attitude will be a focus and we will build a new house."

Authorities have launched an investigation into matter to find out cause behind dely fire. Both zoo and city officials would t confirm reports of local media that blaze was sparked by fireworks in city during New Year's Eve celebration.
