56 Polar bears relocated to a Russian village in the far north region of Russia as rapid melting of ice in the Arctic left them with limited land to roam around

More than 50 polar bears have gared on edge of a vill in Russia's far rth, environmentalists and residents said, as weak Arctic ice is preventing m to roam. According to reports, Russian outlet of WWF(World Wildlife Fund) stated that group of more than 50 polar bears relocated due to climate change, as rising temperatures me it difficult for ice to form in Arctic region.
Climate change is to be blamed
World Wildlife Fund furr ded that due to rapid decline in Artic ice, bears were forced to relocate in search of food. It was also said that re was an increase in number of human and predator encounters in Arctic.

According to reports, re have been rising concerns that polar bears could enter Russian vill that is home to a little less than 1,000 people. Also, petrol stations have been established to keep a check on bears' movements in region.

A representative of local Bear Patrol, Tatyana Minenko, stated that y h kept walrus carcasses in a particular area that y have picked up along coast. Minenko furr ded that as long climate change causes hindrance and re is sufficient ice cover, polar bears are bound to stay ashore.
According to reports, Russian wear service stated that temperatures are expected to fall from vember 7 and that coastal should freeze within a few days. Polar bears are often found to visit inhabited areas in search for food. However, frequency of Polar bears visiting se areas has increased owing to climate change and receding ice covers.
