Actor Sadek Bachchu passes away from COVID-19 at 65

Veteran actor Sadek Bachchu passed away on September 14, 2020, at the age of 65. Reportedly, the actor was tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.

Veteran actor Sek Bachchu passed away at a hospital in Dhaka on September 14 morning, at of 65. He was tested positive for vel Coronavirus. information was confirmed by his wife Shahana and assistant director Masud Rana.

As per report of Daily Star, Sek Bachchu's death took place around 10.45 am, while being treated at Universal Medical College Hospital. actor was mitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital after he complained of fever and breathing troubles on Tuesday. Sek tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday.

Sek Bachchu's movies

Sek Bachchu predominantly worked in Bangleshi cinema. He began his career with rio and atre in 1963. His first break in television industry was in year, 1974. He appeared in television drama titled, Prothom Angeekar, which became his first project.  

He was a part of movies like Ramer Sumoti, Papi Shatru, Lal Bsha, Bhubaran, Amar Swapna Amar Songsar, Bhalobasha Zindab among many ors. He rose to fame by playing villains in movies. Bachchu bagged National Film Award for playing 'Best Villaius Role' in Ekti Cinemar Golpo in 2018. Reportedly, Sek was also kwn for his writing.

Sek Bachchu was last seen in 2018 film titled Captain Khan, helmed by Wajed Ali Sumon. In same year, he was also a part of film, Super Hero, alongside Shakib Khan and Shabm Bubly. Reportedly, actor's real name was Mahbub Ahmed Sek. However, he was popularly kwn as Sek Bachchu, ever since he gained recognition for his role in movie Chandni by Ehtesham.
