Afghanistan: 3 killed, 7 injured in explosion outside Ghani's office

As per reports, A blast took place near Afghan President Ashraf Ghani's office resulting in seven injured and three being killed including a child, yesterday.

As per reports, A blast took place near Afghan President Ashraf Ghani's office resulting in seven people getting injured and three being killed, including a child. blast happened in Ghani's office in Afghanistan's Kandahar province on night of September 24. So far  one has taken responsibility for blast.  blast has come at a time when Afghanistan's presidential election is scheduled to be held on September 28.

Details of blast

Reportedly, blast occurred due to an explosive device placed at entrance of office of Afghanistan's President Ashraf Ghani. An unnamed official said that three civilians were killed which included one child, a woman, and an elderly man and seven ors were injured in explosion which occurred late on Tuesday night. So far, however, one has taken responsibility for blast. Spokesperson meanwhile has posted a tweet condemning Taliban-

blast has come at a time when Afghanistan's presidential election is scheduled to be held on September 28 in which current President Ashraf Ghani is running for a second term. In October last year, US diplomats started peace talks with Taliban in country of Oman. This September, however, Taliban struck and killed an American soldier with 11 ors. This resulted in Donald Trump declaring talks as 'de' which translated into Taliban increasing its attacks again in Afghan war. Earlier this month, two Taliban suicide bombers massacred 48 people in what was seen as an attempt to disrupt election process. Afghanistan has been a victim of many terror incidents in which a countless number of people have lost ir lives.
