Afghanistan: Death toll increases to 16 in blast by Taliban in Kabul
The death toll in the deadly blast by Taliban in Kabul has reached 16 and 119 people have been injured. Over 400 foreigners have been rescued by officials.

Five attackers neutralized
attack on Monday took place at a residential area near Green Vill, an area that has major embassies including embassy of US. attack, executed by at least five attackers, was carried out using a truck len with explosives. Smoke was all over night sky of Kabul and a nearby gas station caught fire because of blast. Green Vill has been a frequent target even though it is guarded by Afghan forces and private security guards. residents of Kabul got so angry after attack that y climbed over boundary of complex, that's mostly targetted and set some part on fire. “It was a horrifying explosion,” a witness, Wali Jan said.

blast occurred while US envoy Khalilz was on a visit to capital city of Afghanistan to brief central government on his negotiations with Taliban on putting an end to longest war of America. “We have reached an agreement with Taliban in principle but of course until U.S. president agrees with it, it isn’t final,” Khalilz told a local news ncy in Afghanistan. agreement has to get approved by US President Donald Trump. According to reports, President Trump wants to withdraw troops before his Presidential elections next year in US. draft deal is meeting his deline and he h been quite hopeful to withdraw his troops.

Motive remains unclear
motive behind such attacks by Taliban is t clear specially after demands of militant group of US troops leaving country are being fulfilled. attacks are increasing and in past few months have seen a lot of it. It is said that Taliban is strengning its position in negotiation with US and Afghan government. re are analysts who have warned that a certain group of Taliban might be unhappy with US-Taliban deal. However, Taliban political leers who were at Qatar meeting said that ir thousands of fighters would respect deal.
