After Trump's Assassination Bid, Shots Fired Near Kamala Harris' Arizona Campaign

Arizona: Days after Donald Trump 's assassination bid, shots were fired outside US Vice President Kamala Harris' Arizona campaign office.
As per media reports, the shots were fired on Monday evening, an unidentified individual fired a shot.
According to the Tempe Police Department, the Democratic National Committee office situated near Southern Avenue and Priest Drive in Tempe witnessed gunfire damage after the incident.
Fortunately, no individuals who were inside the building at the time of the shooting were injured.
"No one was inside the office during the overnight hours, but this raises concerns about the safety of those who work in that building, as well as those nearby," the police said.
The officials added that they are investigating the matter and have beefed up security for staff and others in the area.
Sean McEnerney, the Arizona Democratic Party coordinated campaign manager said, "We are grateful to Tempe Police for coming quickly to the scene and are fortunate no one was present or injured."
Notably, this marks to be the second incident of criminal damage at the Democrat office in many weeks.
Earlier, on September 16, just after midnight, shots were fired at the front windows with what appeared to be a BB gun or pellet gun.
Harris who was in Arizona in August during her campaign, called for the banning of assault weapons and for states to institute red flag laws.
"We’ve got to end the epidemic of gun violence in our country once and for all."
