Alabama Mass Shooting Kills Four Including A Small Child, 9 Others Are Injured

Alabama: Mass shooting has been reported in Alabama, Birmingham; resulting in the death of four people including a small child.

The shooting took place at around 11 PM local time outside a nightclub on the 27th Street North.

According to investigators, the mass shooting has been conducted by a single person; several gunshots were fired when a large crowd was gathered for a private party.

A man, a woman, and a small child in a car all suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.

At least nine people are still being treated at a hospital as of Sunday morning.

Investigation Underway, Cause of Shooting Yet To Be Known

An investigation is being conducted and the cause of the same is yet to be ascertained. The police has also not been able to identify any suspects in the mass shooting. 

In the past seven months of 2024, there have been at least 293 cases of mass shooting in the United States. 

In another news, there has been an assassination attempt on the former US President, Donald Trump while he was conducting a rally in Pennsylvania; the bullet brazed his ear and an investigation is underway. One shooter has been identified by the FBI.
