The 'photobomb'  incident

As per reports, the picture was taken at Katmai National Park in Alaska in July by a photographer named Rober Hawthorne who has captured bears many times in his camera. Due to his experience with bears photographer knew that the bear wasn't looking to attack the two men but was instead looking for fish for dinner. The picture was snapped during a July visit with photographer warning the men of the danger nearby but only after the scene was captured in his camera.

The photograph, the photographer says, strikes a nerve with people. He said that one looks at it and hopes that they never have a bear that close behind them. He guessed the encounter with bear must have lasted for about 15-20 seconds. He later says that he really wishes that he took photos following the bear. When the fishermen looked over their shoulder, they took back the fishing line out of the water and froze at the sight of the bear as it walked down the creek.

The photographer reportedly says that bears in the park usually travel up and down the riverbank to look for food and will dive into the water many time a day as soon as they have got something. Photographer has confirmed that both fishermen escaped without any injury, though they were left shaken.
