Albino elephant calf rescued after being trapped in snare for four days
Albino Elephant calf trapped in the snare has severe injuries inflicted on her body including an unusual Joker-like scar across her mouth.

Khanyisa, an Albi elephant calf was reportedly rescued after she was found tangled up in snare at a private reserve in vicinity to border of Kruger National Park, South Africa. incident h left elephant with severe injuries including an unusual Joker-like scar across her mouth.
snare has reportedly inflicted injuries on calf to back of her ears and neck as it h clutched animal around her cheeks slashing her mouth on each side. She was rescued by Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development (HERD), an elephant’s orphan, who are w looking into her recovery.

elephant has unique pink skin and blue eyes, contrary to grey skin elephants usually have. Sue Howells, a caretaker at organization reportedly said that elephant looked extremely incent, fragile and pure, and yet courous. He said that calf was sly mutilated by humans and was in dire need of help when y decided to protect her and bring her to a safe spot, so she never h to go through a trauma like that ever again.
‘Khansiya’ means ‘light’ in Zimbabwe's Bantu langu
ine Roode, founder of HERD reportedly named elephant calf ‘Khansiya’, which means ‘light’ in Bantu langu of Shona people in Zimbabwe. orphan is located at Kapama Game Reserve, in vicinity of Jabulani herd, named after one or orphan elephant, reports suggest. Jabulani herd are a group of an elephant that Khansiya can hang out with for emotional support and wellbeing.

organization has been posting recovery of elephant calf on social media in phases and audience has extended messs of speedy recovery and appreciation for Orphan for lifting out elephants from misery.
