Amala Paul signs Telugu Lust Stories, to star opposite Jagapathy Babu

South films for long have been reme into Bollywood, from Sma to recent blockbuster Kabir Singh. However, in past few years, some Hindi movies too have me it down South, like Munnabhai MBBS, 3 Idiots and more while Ayushmann Bhaai Ho and or ventures are gearing up for a South remake. After films, this trend is set to continue on digital platforms as well. Netflix’s Lust Stories is gearing up for a remake in Telugu. And Amala Paul is reportedly all set to feature as one of characters.

As per latest reports, Telugu director Nandini Reddy will be one of directors of Telugu version of Lust Stories.  filmmaker was reportedly keen to cast Amala as she was impressed with Amala's natural acting capabilities. report claimed that Amala was extremely excited when movie was offered to her. Amala is likely to star opposite Jagapathy Babu in segment.

Telugu version is going to follow same format as its Hindi counterpart- four segments being directed by four filmmakers. In Hindi version, Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap h directed parts and in Telugu version, apart from Nalini Reddy, Sankalp Reddy, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Tharun Bhascker are set to direct.

re are also reports that Amala might step to shoes of Kiara vani for segment directed by Karan Johar and also starring Vicky Kaushal. track featured woman t being sexually satisfied and indulging in self-pleasure.  

It is t clear if four stories would be same as Hindi ones, or y are just generally taking concept of Lust Stories and come up with ir own stories based on lust. 

Amala Paul and Karan Johar seem to have an equation as latter h unveiled trailer of former’s Aai that h released a few weeks ago. Amala was termed as ‘bold’ for her role in thriller movie.

Meanwhile, Lust Stories me India proud by being minated for International Emmy Awards, to be held in vember later this year in Best Miniseries category. 

Even Rhika Apte was minated for Best Actor category in awards. Her segment was directed by Anurag Kashyap and also starred Sairat fame Akash Thosar.
