Hindu Americans organise rally to celebrate Pran Pratishtha of Ram Mandir

Washington: As Ayodhya gears up for consecration of Ram Mandir, Hindus led by Vishwa Hindu Parish America organised a bike and car rally at Shri Bhakta Anjaneya Temple situated in Maryland, United States. 

Hindu Americans under banner of Vishwa Hindu Parish carried out rally in street named ‘Ayodhya Way’ which saw participation of people from different age groups and backgrounds hailing from various Indian states. rally marked celebration of Ram Mandir inauguration due for January 2024. 

One of organisers of event, Mahendra Sapa, President of Vishwa Hindu Parish of America DC chapter, said that rally is being organised on occasion of Ram Mandir's inauguration. 

"After 500 years of struggle by Hindus, Bhagwan Shri Ram Mandir is being inaugurated. So we are organising a historic celebration of same in Washington DC area on January 20, 2024, with about 1000 American Hindu families. celebration will include Ram Leela, stories of Shri Ram, Hindu prayers to Shri Ram, and Bhajans (devotional songs to Shri Ram and his family)," he said.

Anor co-organizer, Animesh Shukla said celebration will feature a 45-minute enactment of Lord Ram's life by kids of various ages in a manner understandable to American kids.

Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has decided to enthrone Ram Lalla at sanctum-sanctorum of Ram Temple between noon and 12:45 pm on January 22, next year. Ahe of this, local authorities are gearing up up for anticipated surge in visitors.
