As Asterix the classic comic book introduced its first female hero, Amul on Monday, shared a new doodle featuring the Amul Girl and Adrenaline, the female protagonist. The picture was shared on Instagram with a caption, “The legendary comic series gets its first female hero in 60-year history”. The Amul girl can also be seen tying the braid of Adrenaline while she takes a bite of bread with Amul butter.
Asterix for the first time that they will be introducing their teenager female character, Adrenaline, daughter of Vercingetorix, the chieftain of the Gauls, in Asterix and the Chieftain's Daughter. The 38th comic book in the series was released across Europe on October 24 which is written by Jean-Yves Ferri and drawn by Didier Conard. According to international reports, Adrenaline is determined and a fierce character. Conard said that Adrenaline will not be using her looks to drive the plot.The arrival of Adrenaline has also caused chaos as the readers still are trying to figure out her character, whether she will be fun to be ultimately rescued by Asterix and Obelix or if she gets to be a hero. Launched in 1959, Asterix and Obelix along with a group of Gallic villagers use their brain and brawn into resisting the Roman occupants from taking over their village in the series.

Asterix available in Hindi
Back in March, French Ambassador to India, Alexandre Ziegler surprised its Indian readers as they released the first four albums of the series in Hindi. “Their stories are an opportunity for the readers to get a glimpse of the history of the figures' country of origin,” Ziegler said. Further congratulating the translators for taking up the challenge to translate the comic, he said, "making the humor and stories accessible in another language and culture is no easy feat.” Talking about the adventures and antics of the French comic heroes - Asterix and Obelix, the French Ambassador also said that the characters have been timelessly embodying French spirit and a portion of its heritage.
