A huge seal after getting angry due to constant disturbance helped the Australian police to find out about an ongoing international drug smuggling ring.

A huge seal, after getting angry due to constant disturbance, helped Australian police to find out about an ongoing international drug smuggling ring. According to Australian media, police seized huge amount of drugs which included cocaine, ecstasy, and methamphetamine. It was a British and a French national who was found hiding on island on September 3. ir yacht h hit island reef . After news of hiding was reported information about m smuggling drugs took center st. 

Angry seal blocks way

two men, Antoine Dicenta, who is a resident of France and Graham Palmer, from Britain, were located on island towards west of town of Geraldton. y were stuck on island as angry seal h blocked ir way. Eventually, rescue operation which was launched after yacht was found led police to smugglers, as reported by Australian media. 
pair arrived at island with assistance of an inflatable dinghy and h purportedly shrouded drugs under some ocean growth. After smugglers realized that ir hiding place has been discovered, y decided to escape only to be obstructed by a big, huge seal. Damien Healy who is a police officer of Geraldton Volunteer Marine Rescue Service told international media that, guys disturbed sleeping seal, which happened to bellow at m. He ded, y h choice of eir getting arrested or facing seal and y choose to walk away with police.

Huge amount of illicit drugs found

After arrest, police said ab estimate of $688,000 of illicit drugs were discovered on island. In meantime, three more people appeared to testify in front of court. se three men included a British, an American and an Australian man. y were apparently ‘shore party’. Chris Dawson, Commissioner of Western Australian Police said to media that, “ three -- named as Jason Lassiter (45), Scott Felix Jones (35) and Angus Bruce Jackson (50) -- were allegedly shore party" who were "rey to receive" drugs, as per a local news website.

Big international drug haul

According to UK’s National Crime ncy, y have busted a big international drug haul. Michelle Roberts who is Police Minister termed it as a "colossal" drug haul. y told media that y are unaware of actual destination of drugs but some of m were to be transported to West Australian community.
