Armed Forces Flag Day: Pawan Kalyan donates Rs 1 crore for jawan families, thanks PM Modi

As India celebrated the Armed Forces Flag Day, Pawan Kalyan donated Rs 1 crore to the Kendriya Sainik Board for the jawan families. He thanked PM Modi too.

Pawan Kalyan anunced that he is donating Rs 1 crore to  Kendriya Sainik Board, on occasion of  Armed Forces Flag Day. Highlighting sacrifices of armed forces, actor-politician also called on his fans and citizens of country to show ir ‘solidarity' by coming forward and contributing. He also conveyed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reminding country of 'responsibility' to nation.

Taking to Twitter on Friday, a day before Armed Forces Flag Day was celebrated, Pawan Kalyan shared a video where he sent a mess in Hindi, “This is day to hour  armed forces. This is an important day for our country. y sacrifice ir lives for our morland; this a day for  shaheeds. y have fulfilled ir responsibility by giving ir lives. w it is  turn for us to do something for m. Kendriya Sainik Board has come up with several initiatives for soldiers and those jawans injured. You also come ahe and make your contribution for m. This is our responsibility being citizen of country. We should t forget it. Jai Hind!” Pawan Kalyan also shared a letter that  Kendriya Sainik Board h written to him, where some of facts related to day were shared. KSB also urged him to record a video to spre mess to his followers.

In ar tweet, Jana Sena Party Chief wrote, “Let’s show our solidarity to call given by our Beloved & Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi ji to support generously for families of armed forces through ‘Kendriya sainik board’ on #ArmedForcesFlagDay 7th December. Jai Hind!" He also shared paper clippings of Telugu industry supporting Indian  Army during  Kargil War. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi h houred  contribution of Armed Forces. He h shared a video on Twitter. He wrote, “On Armed Forces Flag Day we salute indomitable cour of our forces and ir families.I also urge you to contribute towards welfare of our forces.”
