As one of most powerful thunderstorms of Hurricane Dorian continued its violent grip in Bahamas on Monday, September 2, Chella Phillips opened her home in Nassau for 97 homeless and abandoned dogs. Chella shared information on through a Facebook post describing her experience with 97 dogs in her house, and 79 of m inside her master bedroom. y barriced refuge and did t let anybody outside. Chella runs a dog rescue called Voiceless Dogs of Nassau, Bahamas.

Through social media, Chella Phillips also informed how she has kept air conditioning of house on, along with music playing in all directions. People have also donated crates that were necessary for looking after sick and scared animals. Bahamas, similar to or islands has an abundance of homeless dogs. day Chella decided to open doors of her house for so many dogs, it also marked fourth anniversary of her refuge. y have cared for approximately 1,000 abandoned dogs.

Chella confirmed on her p that all dogs were getting along with each or, well and were welcoming of newcomers. ' dogs are t selfish like humans and y do t mistreat or abuse anyone.' she was quoted saying in her post. Chella furr explainedthat all animals simply passed by each or without causing any problems. She expressed her sness about or stranded animals on streets and ded that y all deserve to have loving homes.
