Brampton: Peel Region Police anunced arrest of ar individual in connection with a violent incident that took place at a Hindu temple in Brampton, Cana. 

  arrest was me by investigators from 21 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau and Strategic Investigation Team (SIT).

According to an official police statement, altercation occurred during a demonstration at a Mandir on Gore Ro. As tensions between opposing groups escalated, demonstration turned violent, with participants reportedly using flags and sticks to assault people. Several of se assaults were captured on video, which has been instrumental in ongoing investigation.

One of suspects who is identified as 35-year-old Inderjeet Gosal of Brampton, was arrested on vember 8 and charged with assault with a weapon. He has been released under specific conditions and is scheduled to appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date.

police have established a dedicated Strategic Investigative Team to examine criminal activities that occurred during vember 3 and 4 incidents. police said that complex investigations like this take time and arrests are me as suspects are identified, t in any particular order.

Authorities are continuing to review hundreds of videos to identify ditional suspects and anticipate more arrests in coming days.

Canian MP Chandra Arya condemned attack by Khalistani extremists on Hindu devotees at Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton. He also took a dig at politicians for framing event as a Hindu-Sikh issue. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also deunced attack in a statement posted on X.
