The Australian man Brett Hadden who had refused to evacuate from bushfire area until his 60 Husky sled dogs can also be evacuated were finally rescued.

Dogs evacuated via Army Trucks

While speaking to an international media outlet, Hden said that he would love to evacuate, but he can t just abandon his dogs after working with m for so many years. Hden and his huskies fled ir property at Cobunga over weekend to shelter at showgrounds in Omeo. He furr also explained how fire front swept through region over weekend but thankfully his home is still standing.

Chiok helicopters that were used to rescue people were t fitted to carry animals and refore Brett Hden and his 60 dogs were stranded in a Victorian fire zone. In a Facebook post, Brett wrote about how soldier Tevis h arrived by Army Trucks in order to evacuate m.

New Warning issued

Australian authorities on January 9 issued new warnings and evacuation tices across country as a return of hot wear fanned bush fires and threatened several towns and communities. According to international media reports, a disaster tice in Victoria state was extended by two days and people in danger zone were furr told to leave. authorities in New South Wales have also informed residents to prepare for worsening wear conditions on January 10.

While speaking to an international media outlet Victoria Emergency Services Minister Lisa Neville said that fires are still moving, still growing and y furr pose a significant risk to communities. Australian fires have alrey left thousands of people homeless and thousands of ors h to evacuate repeatedly. According to reports fires have scorched through more than 10.3 million hectares of land.
