Australia shark attack: 55-year-old man killed while bodyboarding on Cable beach
According to the police, the incident took place at about 8:40 am (local time) when the 55-year-old was bodyboarding at about 40 meters from the Cable beach.

A man has died after he was attacked by a shark at Cable beach, a popular tourist attraction in Western Australia. According to AP, unidentified man was pulled out of water by a couple and rushed to drag man to safety. Despite being pulled out of danger, man suffered injuries to his leg and hand. Later, while being attended by paramedics, who immediately rushed to scene, he succumbed to his injuries and died. According to government records, a total of eight people have died from shark attacks in country since beginning of this year.
