Baby Yoda toy production could be derailed due to novel coronavirus
Baby Yoda toy manufacturer Hasbro said that if things weren’t normal by June and July there will be a severe shortage of the supply of the toys.

manufacturer of Star Wars Baby Yoda toys Hasbro has reportedly confirmed that its toy sets that were expected to hit market by end of this week, can be disrupted due to coronavirus. According to industry expert Jim Silver, CEO of Toys, Tots, Pets and More, supply can suffer acute shrink in market in near future, he confirmed on his official website.
Silver told international media that he learned from sources inside Hasbro that situation can change for worse. He said that if things weren’t rmal by June and July re will be a severe short of supply of toys. Baby Yoda, also kwn as ' Child', shot to fame in vember following its debut of Disney series Mandalorian.

According to reports, Disney chose t to manufacture character toys as it was yet to make an appearance on show. Mandalorian's creators, however, thought of producing Baby Yoda toys in month of vember. But y feared toys me available before its premiere would disappoint fans, so y withheld production for a while. However, when toys were launched in market, it became super hit among audience.

Factories remain shut
But recently, Hasbro confirmed to media reports saying that it is w facing a great challenge as factories remain shut and manufacturing has been stalled due to coronavirus. It said that business has been shut for way longer than company h anticipated.

Hasbro CFO Deborah Thomas confirmed to investors and analysts in an email saying, “We are working to mitigate impact of our manufacturing partner factories being closed longer than anticipated, as well as to reschedule shipments we have t been able to make”. She furr ded that China’s coronavirus quarantines and travel restrictions led to a short of workers that assemble toys in factories. re was clear indication for when business could pick-up, she said.
