‘Bad Debate Nights Happen’: Barack Obama Reacts to Biden Vs Trump Faceoff

Following first US presidential election debate between President Joe Biden and his Republican rival Donald Trump, Former President Barack Obama reacted to concern over Biden after dismal performance. “Bad debate nights happen,” Obama wrote. 

"Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I kw. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself. Between someone who tells truth; who kws right from wrong and will give it to American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit,” Obama remarked.

Twelve years ago, Republican challenger Mitt Romney emerged victorious in debate against Obama, an event that saw pundits on both sides of aisle pan n-president’s performance and prompted concerns among Democrats about ir prospects in upcoming vember elections.

According to a CNN poll aired after debate, 67% of viewers thought Trump won, while 33% believed Biden was winner. In contrast, CNN's poll after final 2020 presidential debate indicated that 53% of viewers felt Biden won, compared to 39% who thought Trump won.
