Baghdadi sought protection of rival group, betrayed by his own

Receipts recovered by researchers established that UN-designated terrorist paid at least $67,000 to members of Hurras al-Din, an ufficial branch of al-Qaida, reported an American daily.

Baghdi was dependent on a rival group but was betrayed by one of insiders who helped him to move around Syria and oversaw construction work of his safe house. Role of Syrian Democratic Forces
Earlier, Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) h confirmed that one of ir sources was able to reach Baghdi’s Syrian safe house. In a series of tweets, senior SDF official Polat Can claimed that source was able to bring Al Baghdi’s underwear to conduct a DNA test in order to make sure that person was Al Baghdi himself.

General Kenneth McKenzie, he of U.S. Central Command, said that six people, including four female Islamic State members, were killed in raid. General McKenzie furr said that Baghdi dragged two children, t three as officials h originally said, with him inside tunnel and detonated his suicide vest.
