A Mexican ad agency Boveda Celeste has recreated Bengaluru’s viral moon walking video on pothole-infested roads, in Mexico. Earlier this month, an actor dressed up as an astronaut walked the poorly formed roads in Bengaluru targeting civic apathy. The video went viral on all social media platforms with support showering from across the globe.

The Mexican Moonwalk

The short clip was uploaded on 11th September on Instagram by user boveda_celeste. It is an exact copy of the Bengaluru-based artist Baadal Nanjundaswamy’s viral video, who created the concept of an astronaut walking on the surface of the Moon filled with craters on a poorly constructed Bengaluru street, replete with potholes, to create awareness about the terrible infrastructure of the city.

The handle said that the video might serve as an example of how governments are ignorant towards the city’s poor infrastructure and expressing their concerns with a quote "we expect a change". Baadal Nanjundaswamy also shared the Mexican recreational video on his Twitter.
