‘Bigil’ first look: Vijay makes it doubly special for fans ahead of his 45th birthday; post collects extraordinary numbers on Twitter

Vijay is well aware of all the buzz and trends like #HBDEminentVijay that his fans created on social media on Friday, and that explains why the actor launched the first look of his next hours before he turned 45, another reason for the fans to celebrate. The launch of the first poster and the title of the movie, ‘Bigil’, created a social media storm as numerous hashtags trended on Twitter, while piling up som extraordinary numbers.

The man himself, whose Twitter account is just filled with updates about his movies in recent years, dropped the latest one, the first poster of his double role, apparently as a father-son duo. The younger Vijay is dressed as a footballer and the older one looking fierce with the knife near his right foot.

Netizens felt the wait was worth it and terming Vijay as ‘Thalaiva’, ‘Thalapathy’ and ‘Mass’ went gaga over him.

At the time of publishing this story, Vijay’s post got a mind-boggling 57K retweets, 117K likes and 19K comments in less than 3 hours. 

The movie reunites Vijay with director Atlee, with whom he has delivered hits like ‘Mersal’ and ‘Theri.’

The actor also comes back on the screen with Nayanthara after a decade since ‘Villu’ that released in 2019. ‘Bigil’, with music by AR Rahman, will hit the theatres on Diwali.
