marking an unexplainable and unseeable phenomenon, Black Hole has developed another characteristic which has baffled the scientists. Astronomers have found out that Black Hole has consumed the nearby matter and objects in the center of the Milky Way. It is consuming matter in a way that it's growing hungrier. The colossal object, Black Hole, is called Sagittarius A. Reportedly, Andrea Ghez, the professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California Los Angeles, and a senior author claims that the present behavior by Black Hole is something that has not been seen in the last 24 years.

Studies on Black Hole

The Black Hole was discovered by Karl Schwarzschild in 1916. Since then, scientists like Stephen Hawking have developed the curiosity and unveiled some magnificent facts about Sagittarius A. Andrea Ghez has claimed to have been studying supermassive black hole for the past 24 years which is usually quiet and is considered “wimpy on a diet”. However, now the cause of the black hole, the beast that is driving so fast. In the latest observation, since 2003, the team of scientists has analysed more than 13,000 observations of the black hole from 133 nights. Evidently, the report was gathered by the Keck Observatory in Hawaii and the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope in Chile.

Why can't we see the Black Hole?

The Black Hole is not visible to the naked eye because it behaves like a one-way trap door, even for light. However, it is possible to detect radiation that blazes in the form of gas and dust. They accelerated just outside the event horizon towards what is considered to be its final fate. Purportedly, it was found on May 13 that the area just outside the point of no return was twice as bright as the next-brightest observation of black hole. Humongous changes were also observed on the other two nights in 2019. Every change that has been discovered are being unprecedented.

The technique used to reanalyse

The team of astronauts used a technique called speckle holography to reanalyse all observations dating as old as to last 24 years. It was the same technique that lead to the conclusion of the level of brightness seen this year. The big question still remains that if the Black Hole entering a new phase. The rate of gas is falling down the black hole drain and has increased for a prolonged period or if the scientists have just studied regular bursts of lights from unusual blobs of gas that falls into the black hole.
