BLACKPINK Jennie set to make Cannes Debut, confirms her agency

Earlier in April, it was anunced that Idol had been welcomed to take part in Out of Competition category at 76th Cannes Film Festival. It will take place from March 16 to 27. Reportedly, South Korean actors Song Joong-ki and Song Kang Ho will also mark ir presence at event. ir films, Hopeless and Cobweb will also be premiered in Out of Competition and Un Certain Regard categories respectively.

Meanwhile, this makes Jennie third K-Pop star to attend Cannes International Film Festival. Before her, Im Si-wan and IU were invited to festival. While Siwan attended event in 2021, IU made her appearance on red carpet in 2022.

Next, y will headline Hyde Park British Summertime Festival in UK. y will perform at concert series in London on July 2 alongside Sabrina Carpenter, South Korean indie rockers Rose, and English pop singers Caity Baser and Mae Stephens.
