Border tension as migrants try to enter Greece from Turkey
Clouds of what appeared to be tear gas were visible on Wednesday at the Greece-Turkey border, as Greek security forces were trying to obstruct migrants and refugees searching for ways to cross from Turkey into Greece.

Facing a potential wave of nearly a million people fleeing fighting in rrn Syria, Turkey has thrown open its borders with Greece to thousands trying to enter Europe, and has threatened to send “millions” more.
Greece responded by closing land border, rushing in military and police reinforcements, and tried to stop migrant boats attempting short but perilous crossing from Turkish coast to its eastern islands.
