Ottawa: Brampton Triveni Mandir and Community entre on Tuesday, vember 12, cancelled a Life Certificate Event scheduled for vember 17 amid rising fears of "extremely high level of violent protests," ANI reported.

"Please be vised that Life Certificate Event scheduled at Brampton Triveni Mandir by Indian Consulate on vember 17, 2024, has been cancelled. This is due to official intelligence from Peel Regional Police, stating that re is an Extremely High and Imminent Threat Level of violent protests," temple said in a statement.

temple authorities furr apologised to community saying, "We apologize to all community members who were depending on event. We are deeply sdened that Canians w feel unsafe coming to Hindu Temples in Cana."

"We call on Peel Police to dress threats being circulated against Brampton Triveni Mandir and provide security guarantees to Canian Hindu Community and general public," it ded.

Brampton Triveni Mandir and Community Centre is a spiritual place for garing of all Hindus and like-minded people to gar to participate in Puja, Kirtan, Sewa and Pravachan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned "deliberate attack" on Hindu temple in Cana and said that "cowardly attempts to intimidate" Indian diplomats were appalling and New Delhi expects Canian authorities to ensure justice and uphold rule of law.
