Brazil's President accuses Leonardo DiCaprio of financing Amazon fire
Brazil's Prez Bolsonaro on Nov 29 reportedly accused actor Leonardo DiCaprio of financing the Amazon forest fires that have generated international concern.

Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro on vember 29 reportedly accused Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio of financing Amazon forest fires that have generated international concern. He has also furr accused environmental organisation World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for paying to have ims taken by volunteer firefighters who were setting fire to forest in order to boost fundraising efforts for NGO. However, WWF has denied receiving any donations from American actor or obtaining photos from firefighters.
While talking to an international media outlet President Bolsonaro accused DiCaprio. Brazilian President said that Leonardo DiCaprio is collaborating with burning of Amazon, furr declaring that actor is also a part of an international 'campaign against Brazil'. President Bolsonaro's allegations came after police officials arrested four volunteer firefighters who were allegedly accused of purposefully setting fires in order to document m and collect more donations. firefighters, however, were released as many politicians and NGOs criticized arrest, saying it was part of a concerted attempt by ruling government to harass environmental groups.

President Bolsonaro's son Eduardo Bolsonaro on Twitter furr wrote, “NGOs BURNING AMAZON How long will extreme press continue to hide that it me a mistake about burning in Amazon and that Bolsonaro was right? NGOs Health and Joy and @WWF are involved in case”. In ar tweet he wrote, “Leonardo DiCaprio donated USD 300,000 to NGO that set fire to Amazon, NGO @WWF paid $ 70,000 for photos of burning forest. Macron and Monna were smarter, just took some pictures taken deces ago of some burning forest on internet and actually posted m”.

Opposition tweets against Bolsonaro
Brazilian President's accusation furr also sparked anger amongst many opposition politicians and activists. Amapá Senator Randolfe Rodrigues tweeted, “How much despair! omissive and incompetent president, responsible for unprecedented environmental dismantling in country, blames even Dicaprio but does t hold his manment responsible for being unable to take a step without destroying anything. Sounds like a joke!”. Ivan Valente, an opposition congressman also tweeted, “Bolsonaro's delirium has limit. Accusing Leonardo DiCaprio of paying to "set fire" in Amazon is patic. But it is also revealing of how y deliberately lie. Remember that re is a fake news action in campaign for TSE. re is doubt about cheating”.
